As a fan of the Skaven of old I wondered what on earth GW is doing with this army now we are 4+ years into Age of Sigmar. They seem like a relic of the past that GW doesn't really know what to do with anymore. They were transplanted completely from the old system but have seen very little to no support or new releases. Last year saw a new 40k edition, so this year should be Age of Sigmar focused again as far as the big summer release is concerned. GW seems to have stuck to alternating between AoS (and Fantasy before that) and 40k for the last years. Warhammer: Age of Sigmar is High Fantasy taken to the extreme. It is the new not-Warhammer Fantasy setting that was formed after the world-sundering events of the End Times, but with everything in the old setting turned up to 11. Those Winds of Magic? Those are now their own realms, each a vast and nearly infinite world, each being shaped around and dictated by their own specific wind. It has beasts the size of mountains that fight gods to a standstill, cities of coal the size of countries

Earlier rumormongers including Harry months back were saying a “full rulebook” would be coming a month or two down the road, but this latest set has come in from multiple retailers who have talked to their reps regarding Age of Sigmar.
